This 18th century style, chair-back settee is formed by three intersecting, caned ovals with a ribbon crest. It is flanked by curved, open armrests with manchettes above an oval seat and is raised on four tapering, fluted legs and toupie feet. This hand carved settee is finished with a cream paint. DATE c. 1890 DIMENSIONS Width 47 Depth 23 Height 39.25 in. Seat: Height 16.5 in. CONDITION Note: caning requires restoration.
