Caned back, two oval backrest with lower middle section between, raised on four fluted tapering legs and carved medallions and foliate details in frame. Cushioned seat, cream colored with deep buttons, is removable, revealing matching gilt caned seat bottom. Unique symmetrical oval design gives the empty 2-seat settee an attractive shape, while practically begging two persons to sit and converse, slightly turned toward each other.
