Description
Star Trek: Voyager Borg City Concept Sculpture by Dan Curry (Circa 1997). Constructed from wood and painted metallic slate and gold, then mounted to a felt-covered wood base by Voyager visual effects supervisor/producer Dan Curry, this concept model shows the Borg Unicomplex. According to the information displayed on the sculpture's base, "This mock-up was used to provide the digital model builders with a sense of the design aesthetic for the vast Borg hive. It is the sculptural equivalent of a rough sketch. Based on this, the computer modelers created the huge Borg complex seen in various episodes." Signed on the base and the actual model by Curry. Measures approximately 22" x 12" x 17". In Very Good condition, with little wear, though appears fragile. COA from Heritage Auctions.
