Item Details
Description
Typewriter Collection of Ted Munk:1921-1923 Hammond Multiplex FoldingThe last Hammond offspring is the Folding from 1923, also known as 'Model 26'. It is not much more than a Multiplex with a folding keyboard that makes it more compact. It is a desperate attempt to make a portable machine like the Corona, Underwood and Remington that are all the rage. It is the only Hammond that cannot be made with a semicircular keyboard as that cannot be folded straight.
