This antique pair of Federal period andirons are crafted with belted lemon-top finials above columnar shafts. They are raised on spurred cabriole legs and ball feet with a stepped iron billet bar. Note: sold to benefit the Denver Art Museum. DATE Late 18th century DIMENSIONS Width 10 Depth 16 Height 20 in. CONDITION Note: (1) repaired with bolt with old rivets.
