Item Details

Description

Royal purple silk having a collarless, unboned peplum bodice with polonaise, decorated at the cuff and hem with purple satin ribbons, lace and cut-steel buckles, full trained skirt with three ribbon swags to the front with buckle and bow details above a wide ruffle. DLM tag indicates dress was purchased in 1964. B-38, W-34, L 44-56. (Bodice buttons possibly replaced, one missing, two missing a cut-steel each, minor darkening under arms, slight fading around buttons) excellent.
