Straight-angled sides, turned-up brim bound in purple grosgrain ribbon, black brocade ribbon band with silver metal buckle, silk twill lining and leather sweatband. Label "Joh. Huckel Neu-Titschein", 10 x 12 x 7 1/2. (Slightly crushed below crown, some wear to edge of crown) good. Together with a c. 1840 blonde beaver top hat with brown ribbon band, 10 x 12 x 6. (Moth damage, lacking lining and sweatband) fair.
