RARE, Set of 11 pieces Chinese Shang Dynasty or Early Han Dynasty period antique jade ritual ceremonial attributes.
Pale-creme to russet-brown in color Nephrite jade plaques with sporadic inclusions and calcifications.
The jade fitted within grayish metallic silk wrapped hard cushion. All sets within the original sliding covered wooden box.

PROVENANCE: From The Collections of Mrs. Alice Marie Hazell, Reached the wonderful age of 81 being born in 1935-2017.
She was the spouse of the late victor Hazell together they had traveled the world together they enjoyed visiting museums and later became employed by several smaller museums, Victor Hazell was placed in charge of procuring many of the items for the various museums, while his specialties were bronzes he developed a passion for jade and porcelain items. In the early stages in his career he found that he could find items of great value that the museums had no room for or had similar items in their inventory.
Having the resources to date and value the items he found became a real serendipity for him, it started out as a few collectables to a full-scale collection.
With the sale of these collectibles it is hoped for that another private collector will add these treasures to their portfolio and treasure them as much as Victor did.
