A Chinese Qing Dynasty lobed porcelain brush washer with a lobed center cartouche echoing the dishs shape and filled with calligraphy in a rouge-de-fer glaze. The surrounding design is that of a doucai composite scroll which is duplicated on the reverse. The dish stands on four bracket feet.
