A large blue and white celestial vase with a dragon and a Flaming Pearl on a white ground. A band of blue ruyi encircles the rim. The body features a very large five-toed sinuous peach bloom dragon with incised green scales which can be felt under the fingers. Both the peach bloom glaze and the green scales are results of glaze manipulation and firing techniques. The dragon is chasing a Flaming Pearl sand both are surrounded by flames and clouds on a white ground. A fitted carved five-footed stand is included. Six characters reign mark on base, Qianlong reign period.
