Description
An attractive Roman green glass sprinkler vessel with streaks of white glass, c. 4th Century AD, the body pear-shaped with deeply indented bottom, the neck constricted at base with flared mouth and inward folded rim; single trailed handle at side. The glass a nice light green color with vertical bands of white. H: 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm). Light deposits inside and out. Ex London, UK private collection formed between the 1950's and 2000.
