Description
An early 20th century Brass desk clock/barometer. Retailed by Scribner & Loehr, Cleveland, OH. Presented to Charles W. McCormick by the Cleveland Stone Company for 25 years of loyal service in 1913. 8-day time and strike movement with silvered dial (possibly by Chelsea) mounted next to a French barometer with incorporated thermometer. Case very tarnished, not running when cataloged. 6" dials, 15 1/2" long x 9" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-400 Chelsea clock movement and case both have the serial #86768. Strikes hour and half hour, not ship's bells.
