Pair of late 19th or early 20th century Italian Renaissance Revival gilt bronze altar candle prickets, each having a circular bobeche with a scrollwork edge above an acanthus capital resting on a fluted tapering standard ending in an acanthus knop, rising on a tripartite base having putti masks and decorated with figural reliefs depicting the Madonna and Child, Jesus carrying the cross, and a saint holding flowers, terminating in scrolling acanthus supports resting on lion's paw feet, 28.75"h x 8"w.
