Description
Elvis Presley's Fishing Boat Painting From His Hillcrest Dr. Beverly Hills Home W/COA - This painting was personally owned by Elvis Presley, and came from his Beverly Hills home on Hillcrest Dr. The painting depicts a sailboat scene, from an original painting by Homer. Elvis and Priscilla Presley lived in the Hillcrest home from 1967 to 1973, and Elvis once stated that it was perfect and that he would not change a thing, not even an ash tray. The home was purchased from Elvis and the contents were later sold in an estate auction. The painting is framed in an ornate wooden frame, and measures approx. 21.5" x 25". The piece will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Elvis Presley Museum. Elvis Presley (1935-1977) was an American singer and actor. He was considered the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, and is often referred to as "The King of Rock and Roll" or "the King". Presley is one of the best-selling solo artists in the history of recorded music, with estimated record sales of around 600 million units worldwide. He won three Grammys, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and has been inducted into multiple music halls of fame.
