Late 18th/early 19th century, Amsterdam, with maker's mark ''RH'' and crowned rampant lion, with retailer's mark ''Diemont'', the curved oval lid surmounted by a pinecone finial over a conforming tapering body with reeded socle and oval foot, 6.75'' H x 5.25'' W x 3.5'' D, 12 oz, est:$700/900. Condition
Very good condition overall. Quite a clean surface. Minor marks, scratches and very slight tarnishing commensurate with age. Apparently never or very rarely used. Lip of lid marked as well as underside. One key. This and all lots are sold AS IS.
