Posed atop red velvet covered base is a bisque head bebe with brown paperweight eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, brown human hair wig over cork pate, carton moule torso and legs, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, silk and lace costume. When key wound the music begins as doll lifts and turns head slightly as arms move in motion as though playing a musical instrument. Commentary: Automatiques a Musique by L.Lambert, circa 1890; Fine quality bisque head, missing instrument; head seems a bit loose.
