Printed for William Andres Clark, Jr., by John Henry Nash. 1930. Hardcover. 9 x 13 inches. xxxv, 29 including Bibiography. Vellum spine stamped in gold, paper sides. Paper slip tipped to front endpaper that says "Compliments of William Andrews Clark, Jr. Christmas Mdcccxxx" In paper-covered slipcase with second volume: The Original in Facsimile. 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches. 32 pages plus limitation page numbered 138 of 250 copies. Bound as a pamphlet held together by a cord running across the center fold.

Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925
