Chinese 17 Century Transitional Blue & White Porcelain Pot with soldiers, a horse and a Scholar resting near a Waterfall all in underglaze blue. The mouth left unglazed and with a small flake possibly original to the firing; kiln grit to base; the inside & outside surfaces with light age related wear, firing crack and glaze bursts inside at base. Height 5 7/8 inches (15 cm.) X diameter 8 3/4 inches (22.3 cm.).
