A striking jade pendant carved with the profile head of a Mayan lord presenting finely delineated facial features and wearing an elaborate helmet. The pendant is vertically drilled for suspension. In addition to the skillfully carved and string cut image, the stone itself is quite beautiful - of unusual azure blue hues with slight facets that create a sparkle across the surface.
