Item Details

Description

Tan/chocolate colored glassy glaze ovoid jar with lug handles, Western NC. Early 20th century, air bubbles visible in the surface, finger turning marks visible, 15" tall by 11" wide, ovoid shape, rim nick to the outer edge, from the Estate of a well known collector from Mountain City, Tenn., who purchased items both Western North Carolina. Circa 1900, no signature or makers marking. The color of the glaze is one of milk chocolate and is consistent.
