Description

Hard to find Fenton 1918 Butterfly and Fern Blue Carnival Glass Water Pitcher. This pitcher is rated #2 in rarity as it is hard to find. The blue is very vivid with a silvery sheen with colorful iridescent around the top crimped edge. Measures approximately 9 1/2" tall, weight is 3 pds. Hairline to bottom Another of the numerous Fenton patterns in which only water sets were produced. It is sometimes called Butterfly and Plume as plumes are the shapes at the bottom of the pieces. Colors are amethyst, blue, green, and marigold. Ref: David Doty's Carnival Glass
