Polychrome Figural Carved Winged Angel Figure. Carved wood and gesso figure of a flying angel wearing gilt and colorful garments with large wings and flowing robes, a beaded necklace and bare breast. The figure holds a scepter in her right hand which is repaired, has a repair to the left arm and hand, minor chipping to the gesso and finish; figure hangs on 13 iron chain links measuring 11 in. high. Figure measures 13 in. high x 22 in. wide x 15.25 in. deep. Weight: 5.5 lbs.
