First, a Marcus Aurelius, ca. 161 to 180 CE, silver Denarius, Rome, 166-7. Obverse: Laureate head r. Reverse: Aequitas standing l., holding scales and cornucopia. RIC III 171; RSC 882. 15 mm; 2.6 grams. Second, Lucania, Herakleia AR Diobol, ca. 433 to 330 BCE. Obverse: Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with hippocamp. Reverse: Herakles kneeling right, wrestling with the Nemean lion; club to left. SNG ANS: 26ff. 12 mm; 0.9 grams.
