Egypt, New Kingdom, Dynasties XVIII - XX, ca. 1549 to 1077 BCE; Late Period, Dynasties XXVI - XXXI, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A group of four ancient Egyptian items crafted from a variety of different materials. Two faience objects are from the New Kingdom era: a near-miniature figure of the goddess Isis, seen in an upright striding pose, and an amulet with a pierced bale in the form of male genitalia. One item from the New Kingdom era, a rounded clay seal, shows the protective Eye of Horus (also known as a wedjat). Lastly is a stone scarab from the Late Period, shaped in a classic beetle form, displays carved abstract geometric lines and shapes on its bottom. Size of the largest item: 1" L x 0.875" W x 0.5" H (2.5 cm x 2.2 cm x 1.3 cm).
