One of the earliest efforts to classify and catalogue corals, shells and mollusks under the general term conchology - a term coined by Dezallier d'Argenville in this work.
Condition: Light wear and scuffing to leather; some light foxing, margins in four gutters a little stained, early ownership signature at bottom margin of title page; a solid, handsome copy. Item number: 289205
