Holmes Hole, Massachusetts. The piece is handsomely executed and is an invitation to the people of Holmes Hole to the South School House for courses on the varying degrees of penmanship. The classes are taught by J.M. Macomb and Brother. The cost 1.50. Very interesting piece and in good overall condition with a fold in the middle and some slight wrinkling to the paper. Signed at bottom, ÒHolmes Hole May 19th 1852Ó. Framed: H15 1/8" W18 1/8"
