Description
CUT OVERLAY QUATREFOIL AND SPIKED OVALS KEROSENE BANQUET STAND LAMP, cobalt blue to colorless pyriform font, raised on a matching spiked quatrefoil with elongated cuts stem, and double-step marble base with cast-brass ornamentation, brass connectors, No. 3 fine-line collar. Fitted with a Plume and Atwood Duplex burner, topped with an acorn-form astral shade with oval and cross-hatching cuts. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1860-1880. 31" HOA, 20 1/4" H to top of collar, 6 1/8" SQ base.
Glass undamaged, burner with a drilled hole to the gallery, some denting, and a minor solder repair to the shade ring, typical minor roughness to the marble edge. Three burst bubbles to the lamp base with one being to the font and two to the top of the stem, as made.
