Description
probably late Qing dynasty, 19th century, bright blue silk embroidered with golden thread in shape of Chinese coins, a ruyi cloud motif is embroidered at the top, there is a silk cord with rose quartz adornments, this fan case would have been worn at the waist for holding folding fans when they were not in use, framed under glass, not examined outside of the frame.
DOA 22.5 x 7.5 in. ,SS 17.5 x 2.5 in.
