Description
This group consists of a heart-shaped repousse cherub decorated ring box. It is by Williams Comyns, 1897. Engraved on bottom, Kathryn from CLP 1900. Has velvet fitted interior. The next box is a Queen Victoria pill box. Fully hallmarked, Birmingham, 1896. It has a repousse acanthus decoration with a medallion of Queen Victoria with a date of 1837-97. Monogram on bottom in script, LC. Measures 1.5 inches diameter. Next is a hand-hammered, circular box. Fully hallmarked, London, 1897. Good condition with light dent on edge with an applied monogram EJH. Measures 3 inches long. Lastly, the vesta case. Fully hallmarked, Birmingham, 1901. Good condition. Measures 2.2 inches long. Weighs 192 grams or 6.2 troy ounces. All four sold together as one lot.
