Three Apulian red-figure dishes, Greek South Italy, circa 4th century BC, each on a raised ring base, two decorated with a female profile head wearing the saccos and radiate stephane, circumscribed by a band wave pattern and an outer band of white slip petals, the third dish with a standing figure of a winged eros as a youth holding a tambourine in his right hand and a sash in his left, a rosette and other motifs in the field, circumscribed by a band of wave pattern Provenance: Purchased Sotheby s, 28 October 1993, lot 153
