Description
Wonderful museum quality display of an identified WW2 Italian Colonel of Infantry 90th Regiment , Salerno Officer's uniform. Tunic is complete with star collar tabs, Infantry bullion shoulder boards and campaign ribbons. The ribbons are as follows; Military Order of Savoia, War Merit Cross, Order of the Crown of Italy, WW1 campaign, Campaign of Spain 1936, Volunteer in Campaign of Spain and Long Command. Visored cap has boullion 90th infantry hat device. Makers tag inside marked P. Gaudino, Torino. Pants are identified on the maker label in ink and is dated 22-7-1930. Also included is a 'Sam Brown" type belt rig with holster, blue sash and boots. Uniform has some light soiling, some mothing and blue sash is faded. A very impressive and complete identified grouping. Very Good-Excellent
