Original Italian World War II infantry officer's visor cap, constructed of grey wool with a band featuring three gold brocade stripes. The insignia at front consists of a pair of crossed rifles in gold bullion, with a black velvet disk at center bearing the regimental number "84"Â, beneath a gold bullion crown motif. A black faux-leather chin strap is attached above the visor. The interior is lined with grey silk, with a plastic diamond-shaped sweat shield at center identifying the maker as "Vaccaro"Â of Firenze. It further features a brown leather sweat band branded "Gran Lasso"Â. Shows one or two minute moth nips to the exterior, else very good.
