Description
15th Century antique Chinese Ming Dynasty bronze censer, cast in compressed globular form, short neck to flat open wide rim, raised on three conical short legs, with two loop handles vertically everted on upper lip. The metal patinated to a warm olive-brown tone and some milky blue-green encrustation on interior.
Mark on base, an impressed seal mark, with six script -KaiShu- characters, XuanDe Reign Period of Great Ming.
