Kennedy, John F. A Golf Ball Owned by John F. Kennedy, Taken from His Golf Tote Bag. Elijah Jones Collection. Circa 1942. From a collection of golf balls owned by Kennedy as an ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve in Charleston, South Carolina. After he left the base, Kennedy's tote bag containing the balls passed into the possession of a Lt. Elijah N. Jones, who was stationed there too. Accompanied by a copy of the letter of authenticity written and signed by Jones' son, Michael R. Jones. Framed and matted with a photograph of the tote bag and related documents.
