To the unaided eye, the piece appears to be in very good condition. Closer inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a normal fluorescence of artist's pigments, and no signs of restoration. The piece is framed in a narrow oak cap. The frame is in very good condition but does fit a little poor on the upper left and lower left, revealing a slight gap due to the variance of the stretched canvas. Verso: label: Elaine Horwitch Galleries, Scottsdale, Santa Fe, Sedona, Palm Springs. Inscribed and stamped on the stretcher bars: Art Services Santa Fe, New Mexico stating that the stretcher bars are: Expansion cross-brace done 3/22/91
