Description
Group of 1940's and 50's small 4to black and white photographs depicting the acclaimed virtuoso conductor in various half-profile poses. All are inscribed to Jean Tennyson (Boissevain), the operatic renown soprano and patron of the arts with dedications. Comprises two portraits matted and framed under glass with inscriptions in white ink against the dark background of his jacket and one portrait (unframed) with inscription in red ink in the wide bottom margin.
