Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A finely-detailed terracotta plaque in the form of a palmette, with curled tendrils, a narrow base, and wide, flaring petals near the top. This form is characteristic of the tops of Roman-era column capitals. Custom wooden base included. Size: 3" H (7.6 cm); 3.625" H (9.2 cm) on included custom stand.
