Description
**First Time At Auction**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A lovely bronze bowl of an overall phiale-like form, with a circular base, rolling shoulders, a shallow interior cavity, and a slight folded rim. A beautiful pale green patina shrouds the russet-hued bronze beneath, and imbues the bowl with a well-aged appearance. Size: 4.875" Diameter (12.4 cm).

Provenance: private Orange County, California, USA collection, acquired before 2000
