REED & BARTON FRENCH RENAISSANCE STERLING BEAUTIFUL 48 PIECE SERVICE FOR 12 This is a very fine Reed & Barton French Renaissance sterling silver service for 12 (less a few pieces). All knives have stainless blades.
This beautiful pattern was offered only from 1941 to 2005.
This service has a great finish. The flatware is in very good, barely-used condition. There are no nicks or repairs of flaws that were seen excluding 1 knife blade that has 2 very minute rust spots on the cutting edge.
There are a total of 48 pieces in this nice set.

There are 12 each of the following--all lengths given are approximate: knives (8 7/8"); forks (7 1/4") & teaspoons (6");
Additionally, there are 10 salad forks (6 1/4") & 2 butter knives with stainless blades (6").
There are no monograms; there is no indication of any monograms being buffed or removed.
The items weigh over 56.7 troy ounces including an estimated value for the knives with stainless blades.
The service comes with a very worn wooden small chest.
