The 8” x 10” black & white movie still photo card is signed in green felt tip pen, inscribed “To Mike – Best Wishes, From Noel ‘Lois Lane’ Neill”. Included is an original 1962 newsprint clipping article with fine print copyright 1962 National Periodical Publications, Inc. (in between the two article photos, text is upright position), both article photos (top and bottom) are signed in green felt tip pen “Noel ‘Lois Lane’ Neill” and just “Noel Neill”. The 8” x 10” B&W photo is a shot of George Reeves and Noel Neill played Superman and Lois Lane in the Adventures of Superman TV series, which ran from 1951 to 1958. Provenance: This item is part of many autograph collections of Mr. Mike Newton, a writer for Fort Hamilton Press from 1960’s to 1980’s (or later). It appears that he writes biographies, articles about history, films in various genre, politics and more that the readers follow in his regular column in Fort Hamilton Press. This gives him the purpose and passion to write to personalities, politicians, businessman, royalties and important individuals to gain materials for press releases or articles. He also gained regular correspondence on some of them and collected, kept and treasured their signed photos, letters and documents he received on the mail. He is also an author of a number of books published by Fort Hamilton Press, Hamilton, Ohio. Some of his autographs collection may that bear the name of Mr. Jim Newton from Hamilton Journal – News, The Journal Publishing Co. Hamilton, Ohio who also appears to be a writer, possibly another pseudonym of Mike Newton.
