This lot consists of a silkscreen signed ''Andy Warhol'' in pencil and ''R/B'' written in the lower left, typically this signifies an Artist Proof or Color Proof but this designation is unknown. Image shows the face of Argentine Revolutionary Che Guevara in black and yellow. Done in the Pop Art Style of Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987). Features the same image of Che used in the infamous 1968 forgery created by Warhol associate, Gerard Malanga which he sold to a gallery in Rome. When Warhol heard of the fraud he ''authenticated'' the fake, provided that all the money from sales went to him. Piece measures approx. 12' x 9.5'.

Paper is very lightly toned with signs of age including minor creases, corner bumps and folds primarily around the edges. The image and signature are clear and show very well.
