Description
At one time, boars were respected as fierce and brave creatures. Even though they don't appear dangerous in size and demeanor, they should not be underestimated. If surprised or concerned, a boar can and willdefend itself and its young with intense vigor. The male lowers its head, charges, and then slashes upward with his tusks. The female, whose tusks are not visible, charges with her head up, mouth wide, and bites. Their tusks continuously grow and serve as tools and as weapons. It would certainlybe wise to not be on the receiving end of the charge of a wild boar. This boar would be an excellent addition to any desk or mantle and would be a great conversation starter! He walks through the bushes and sniffs the dirt ground, trying to pick up the scent of prey. Hislowers his large round snout to the ground. His eyes narrow and his hunting skills are sparked. His large ears perk up. He can smell something in the distance. If it is you, it would be best to start running. Through careful detailing you can feelhis coarse rough hair.100% bronze and handmade, this dark brown patina sculpture was cast using the "Lost Wax Method" and signed by the artist Chemin.
