A beautiful Egyptian alabaster bowl in antique display case, Middle Kingdom, c. 2055 - 1650 BC, the vessel finely made from translucent alabaster with high walls, flattened rim and a pad foot. 2 3/8 in x 3 3/4 in (6 x 9.5cm). A gorgeous bowl and with a wonderful antique velvet case with descriptive plaque dating it to the 11th Dynasty. Ex Southern California private collection.
