DESCRIPTION: Circa 1896 to 1920 Philadelphia Museum educational images. Includes thirty-two of the original forty mounted photographs of natural resources processing. Photograph themes include: harvesting tea, washing gold, shearing sheep, cacao harvest, weaving, coal mining, and producing silk. These images were housed in cabinets that were originally created in order to house collections from World's Fairs during that era and distributed to various museums. Comes with two miscellaneous images from the Highland Reservoir in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. MEASUREMENTS: Philadelphia images are 12" x 9-3/4". CONDITION: Discoloration and undulation. Losses to mats.
