Die struck medallion, double-sided, the reverse is hand engraved 'Awarded to M.S. Salisbury for best display of Beekeeper's Tools, 1879' at the Kansas City, Missouri exposition.
Background from kchistory.org: 'First fair of its kind in 1871 with half the city population in attendance, changing its name to the "Kansas City Industrial Exposition and Agricultural Fair Association" in 1873 and culminating in "1887 with the construction of the enormous Exposition Hall."'
