Description
A Georgian / George III English sterling silver tea pot and tea stand. The teapot having hallmarks for what appears to be Alice & George Burrows, London, 1801. The tea stand with hallmarks for Thomas Robins, London, 1801. Black ebonized wood handle and finial. The teapot and stand with chased decoration at the top and bottom borders and surrounding the oval monogrammed medallions. The teapot measures 6-5/8" high to top of handle, 10" long from end of spout to end of handle, 4" wide. The oval stand measures 7/8" high, 6.25" wide, 4.5" deep. Overall weight of the two pieces, 18.16 troy oz (564.84 grams).
