A LARGE POLYCHROME MODEL OF A PORTUGUESE GALLEON STYLE WARSHIP, EARLY MID 20TH CENTURY, four bamboo masts tower above a multi level deck, the steering wheel of carved wood with nail head handles, the bow with a carved sea monster beak, over a two level gun deck above the crews porthole dotted quarters, polychrome in green white and red with black details. Height: 43" Width: 48" Depth: 6 1/2" Provenance: Collection of the late Captain Harrison Smith, Galveston, Texas.

The sails now tattered, some mild paint scuffing, otherwise in very good condition.
