A CHINESE MING STYLE CARVED ROSEWOOD HORSESHOE ARMCHAIR, FIRST HALF 20TH CENTURY, the horseshoe back rail with turned and serpentine supports centering a curved vertical splat carved with a bat and tassel fringe, above an inset rectangular paneled seat, over a cloud carved shaped skirt, on rounded legs, joined by a box stretcher. There are some vertical cracks on the legs, a small white colored splatter stain on one arm, and some humidity cracks on the seat near the joints but intermittently throughout; otherwise in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
