A PINK SANDSTONE SCULPTURE, POSSIBLY 17TH/18TH CENTURY, OF NANDI AND A SHIVA LINGAM, PROBABLY WAI, MAHARASHTA, INDIA, the recumbent bull with necklace adornment kneels before a lingam in worship, on an integral conforming plinth. Height: 5 3/4" Width: 9" Depth: 4 1/4"
Condition
Some rubbing and loss to the relief carving, various chips, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
