AN INTERESTING PLAINS BEADED HIDE TIPI BAG, CIRCA 1890. The sinew sewn beaded bag decorated with horizontal rows of blue, pink and red beads and the sides and flap similarly decorated. The face also beaded with an interesting U-shaped symbol rendered in gold beads with black borders. The sides also trimmed with tin cones displaying remnants of inserted red yarn. Greatest width 21.25 inches. Native American.
